Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aurra platform, including all related services, features, and content. By creating an account or using Aurra, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account independently. Users under the age of 18 may use the platform only under the direct supervision and guidance of a parent or legal guardian, who must consent to these Terms on their behalf and accept full responsibility for the minor's activity.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration and keep it up to date.
  • You may not create multiple accounts, share your account with others, or transfer your account to another person.

2. Platform Services

Aurra provides an AI companion platform where you can:

  • Create custom AI avatars using your uploaded images, voice samples, and videos.
  • Interact with your avatars via text messaging, voice calls, and video sessions.
  • Manage your subscription plan, credits, and account settings.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Access to platform features requires an active paid subscription.
  • Subscription plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase. Annual plans are billed upfront.
  • Usage is metered through credits. Text, voice, and video interactions each consume credits at their respective rates.
  • Credits included with your plan do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing period.
  • Add-on credit purchases require an active subscription and are non-refundable.
  • Plan upgrades take effect immediately. Plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • Cancellation stops future renewals. You retain access until the end of your current paid period.
  • Subscriptions are non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued where required by applicable law.
  • Failed payments will result in immediate suspension of access. No grace period is provided.

4. Avatar Creation & Responsible Use

By creating avatars on the platform, you agree to comply with our Avatar Usage Guidelines in full. In particular:

  • You confirm that all uploaded media (images, voice samples, videos, documents) is of yourself or that you have obtained explicit, informed consent from the individual depicted.
  • You must not upload media of any other person without their written permission.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to use all uploaded media.
  • All uploaded content is automatically screened for compliance. Content that violates our guidelines will be rejected.

5. Content Standards

All content you upload or create on the platform must be appropriate for general audiences. The following is strictly prohibited:

  • Nudity or sexually suggestive content — including revealing clothing, suggestive poses, or imagery of a sexual nature.
  • Violence, gore, or disturbing imagery — depictions of harm, injury, weapons, or graphic content.
  • Drug or alcohol use — images or content depicting substance use or paraphernalia.
  • Hate speech or discrimination — content promoting hatred, bigotry, extremism, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Harassment or threats — content intended to bully, intimidate, threaten, or harm any individual or group.
  • Misinformation or deception — deepfakes or misleading AI-generated content intended to deceive others.
  • Illegal activity — content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts any unlawful activity.

6. Prohibited Use

You must not use the platform to:

  • Impersonate, defame, harass, stalk, threaten, or harm any individual.
  • Commit fraud, identity theft, or engage in any deceptive practice.
  • Create deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive others about someone's identity, words, or actions.
  • Infringe upon the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of any third party.
  • Distribute spam, malware, or any harmful or unsolicited content.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI models underlying the platform.
  • Circumvent any content moderation, security, or access control measures.
  • Use the platform for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations.

7. Content Moderation & Enforcement

We use automated screening and may perform manual reviews to enforce our content standards. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, our Avatar Usage Guidelines, or any applicable law — without prior notice and without refund. Repeated violations will result in permanent account termination.

8. Takedown Requests

If you believe any content on the platform infringes your rights or violates applicable law, you may submit a takedown request by emailing us at hello+support@imitatelabs.ai. Please include a description of the content, the reason for the request, and any supporting evidence. We will review and respond to valid requests within a reasonable timeframe.

9. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the original media you upload to the platform.
  • By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use, process, and store your media solely for the purpose of providing and improving the avatar service.
  • The platform, its design, code, AI models, and branding are the intellectual property of Aurra and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission.
  • AI-generated avatars and outputs are provided for your personal use within the platform. You may not use them for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

  • The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform.
  • AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate, or reliable. You use AI outputs at your own discretion and risk.
  • We are not responsible for any actions you take based on AI-generated content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

  • You may request deletion of your account by emailing us at hello+support@imitatelabs.ai. We will process your request and remove your account within a reasonable timeframe.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, without prior notice and without refund.
  • Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
